LEIF OVE JOINS THE GRAMOPHONE HALL OF FAME

Hoflogo

Gramophone Magazine has chosen Leif Ove Andsnes as one of 50 new entries for its recently launched Hall of Fame.

Celebrating those whose "contributions to classical music recording have proved the most influential and inspiring" Leif Ove Andsnes is one of just a handful of pianists who have been elected, taking his seat next to the legendary names of

Vladimir Ashkenazy, Emil Gilels, Wilelm Kempff, Arturo Benedetti MIchelangeli and Sergey Rachmaninov.  An honour indeed!
